I Don’t Want to Be Nice! - Our Emotions and Behavior Book Series

Finn is not very kind to his classmates, and he cares mostly about himself. He doesn’t help Ahmed or Lily. He shoves Molly and Freddy on the playground. In soccer, he doesn’t play fair. Following the story, a series of pictures invites children to tell a story in their own words about showing kindness. A section for adults suggests ideas for talking with kids about the importance of being kind and gently presents positive coping skills for children when it comes to dealing with their emotions.
